Monet's Revenge 14" x 11" Chromogenic c-print, 1999 This image could also be called "Revenge on Monet". The title, of course, refers to Claude Monet's beautiful paintings made in his garden in Giverny, France. These waterlilies were photographed in New York City, where they, understandably, are a bit more stressed-out than the ones in Monet's garden.
