Seeds of Discontent each packet measures 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" x 1/8" Seeds of Discontent is an ongoing series of "faux" seed packages that, in the fluxus tradition, irreverently comment on graphic design and commerce. Inspired by the seeds of the shelves of a hardware store, Seeds of Discontent presents new "hybrids" such as Screamus Aggravitus and Mixed Laughers. On the back of each package is a disclaimer warning people not to plant the seeds. (I don't want people sowing the seeds of discontent!) There is also a map of the world, showing the germination rates for different geographic areas. The map shows nowhere with better than 2% chance of germination.
